Craft Show Drama

I am going to try to do my first craft show this fall. I am super excited! And stressed...

Here in Georgia the sun (even in the fall) will literally bake you. I need a canopy! The ones that are not expensive are poorly made, and since I'm short on cash, I can't afford $100 -$200 for a canopy. So let the search begin!

Not only that, but I also have to get a ton of items made in time. I have 30 or so already tucked away, and am working like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get more made. I'm having a lot of fun though. It gives me a good excuse to use up some of the yarn I've been saving. :)

So wish me luck! I'm sorry I update my blog so seldom, but thanks to all of my followers who have graciously kept up with me!

Unfortunately, I was unable to get 20 people to sign up for my giveaway.... :(

But thank you so much to those of you who did sign up! When I host my next giveaway, the 9 of you will be automatically entered in it (unless you choose to not be).

Thanks!

Our Own Little Celebrity Has Her Own Web-Page Up!

I am so excited! Overly so, probably. But the pit bull we are currently fostering has a web page up with the organization we are working with!

We have $1935 dollars already donated, which is about 1/3 of the total amount needed for her surgery. That is fantastic! It is so much more than we were anticipating being able to get for her. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has donated. Even if you've only read her story, thank you! It means so much!

Giveaway Time!

I'm planning to host my first ever giveaway. The prize will be a set of 15 cotton rounds like the ones listed here.

OR a Soggy Sardine catnip toy (in the color I choose), which you can see here.

It's your choice!

All you have to do is comment on this post! On August 1st, I will put all the names in a jar and randomly choose one. I will need to have 20 or more participants to proceed. Please include your email address in your comment so that I can contact you if you are the winner. I will contact you if you win, and then your prize will be shipped and on its way!

Thanks for visiting my blog, and good luck!
